And this is exactly what he's talking about. Y'all got pages and pages talking about his public persona.
Meanwhile he's telling you. Look. I got money. I got my girl. I got my friends. I got my family. I'm rapping. In a few months I'll be back to touring and chilling and smoking and living my life. IM GOOD!!
Now meanwhile. WE all wake up everyday trying to do what exactly?
Go to work to get money. Talk to females or be with our women to have a lady in our lives. Try to be there and take care of and have fun with family and friends.
So how we all trying to accomplish the same goals. But he accomplished every one better than us. But he got problems. Cause WE perceive him as not doing well. Even tho it's his life and he's just fine. Doing quite well actually
It'd be like me judging everyone on here as losers for being on the coli. And said wow. These posts. You need to get your priorities straight.
But you married with kids and a job and got your mom a house and making 70k a year. Would you give two fukks what I thought? Would you suddenly have problems if me and 100 other people said you did?
I get your point and i agree with you. but I think we're stressing two different points.
Maybe I wasn't clear. Debating Whether or not people should give a fukk about his life is irrelevant to my point. As dumb as it is, people do.
Meek is a celebrity, as trivial as his problems seem to realists, he doesn't have the same luxuries that normal people have. All of his mistakes and every move he makes is under a spotlight.
I honestly don't give a fukk about any thing in Meeks life. That instagram pic isn't for me. I have no stakes in this stan war and i side with Meek on all of this.
Still, it can't be denied that Meek has a PR problem. People are resentful of any type of elitism. He's not in Philly anymore. Unironic/humorless flexing on your haters doesn't work in the greater world of social media. Especially, when Meek is
A) Already seen as the "villain" in the beef.
B) has haters that can number in the thousands.
To be fair, Meek isn't the only public figure that gets bad press. It comes with the territory. However, He's the only one who consistently flashes money, fame, and status, as his response to the haters. Unfortunately, it's not working. In fact, it backfired when he dropped "wanna know."
The best PR move he pulled since the beef was buying all that water for Flint. Ironically, it was a largely unintentional and was his way of stunting on 50 cent.
But outside of that, Meek has been struggling with handling his Ls. Look at how some of his peers handled their controversy.
As big of a hit Drake should have taken last summer, he shrugged it off with great PR.
Lets look at Rick Ross' case. Aftter he was outed as a fraud and a CO. He transformed himself into a comedic caricature of a Mafia Don and dropped a classic with Rich Forever.
Kanye has turned his bytch tendencies, of being over emotional, impulsive, lacking tact, over sharing, narcissist, and generally being a douchebag, into his biggest strenght as an artist.
DJ Khaled has turned being obnoxious into a snapchat phenomenon.
Young Thug is getting gayer by the minute.
Future brought his career back from the grave when he killed his future vandrose persona and turned into a "monster".
I could go on and on.
