I don't agree with the connotation of the quote, which is what is being discussed in this thread. The idea that this a man thing. I believe this is mental issue thing and people with mental issues are being triggered. And if a mentally ill woman were triggered (like say being cheated) she's likely to react violently as well... because shes, well, mentally ill. Not because she's a woman.

No one in this thread has said that only men do this.
But if this is what you are hung up on, fine, women can be violent too.

But the difference is on most occasions a man is far more capable of forcing his will (physically) on a woman versus the other way around.

Just talk to women in your life and ask them what their fears are on unwanted advances and see if you ever have had to worry about these fears.
It might be a very educational experience.

That is not my problem. When a chick rejects me I always act respectful and KIM. That is life alot women will not like you. I have been rejected alot and sometimes harshly but I just keep it moving. That is how I was raised.

I cant remember what the guy said to her, but response something like a quick "No." And she walked away and ignored everything else.

I said next time... just smile. Tell him "thank you, but I have boyfriend" (which she did at the time). And if he kept talking... just say "I'm really sorry, but someone is waiting on me and I have to go, but have a nice day" or something like that.

The point is to be friendly with people, especially when you don't know them or are uncomfortable. It's harder for people to flip out on you when you're nothing but nice. Normally there is something that triggers these unstable people to violence... and it's generally not kindness. And of they stil flip... hell, live is unfair that way some times. But at least you did your part.
