Still a huge deal as far as PC/Xb1 games go. merging that community is a big deal as far as multiplayer goes.

I'm going to look more into this to see if the possibility for all systems are there....that would be freaking amazing.

Rocket League seems to be the first game to allow full PC/Xbox/PS multiplayer. So yea, now the developers got some shyt on they plate, cause they gonna get bashed to hell if they publicly refuse this.

What's so great about this?
For Xbox, a lot of MMORPGs just got a green light, since a major problem was always MS not allowing online play with Sony and PC gamers. Final Fantasy being a prime example. Things like Dragon's dogma online actually has a chance now if Capcom sees they'll have access to connecting all players regardless of console.

For Sony, its always been said that the best FPS shooters play on xbox, now its time to put the money where the mouth is. Ain't nothing stopping Xbox from proving this now if this goes through. Imagine a big console tournament event in COD, Team PS4 vs Team Xbox One would be huge.

That's odd because Microsoft is the last one to announce this. PS/PC has had cross play for the longest.

Both systems have had it in games, but its been spotty at best. Looks like this will be a standard going forward for all games that are available on both platforms if I'm reading this right

You know like I know Microsoft going the software route with their systems. The ability to increase the population presence on titles that requires multiplayers is a plus because it will allow games to flourish in this hit or miss gaming market. QB will get a sequel because of PC and Xbox sales, Gears etc... this is major.
