It's been replaying on Showtime lately and in watching it, it's rarely discussed when talking about Spike Lee's resume and Denzel's filmography. Understandable as both have had legendary careers so certain works will go under the radar. What are The Film Room's thoughts on this entry in both of their careers?

This was beautiful. Spike had some amazing original songs in a bunch of his movies. And while it may not be one of the most popular, this movie had some fantastic performances along with the usual Spike gang. Best music out of any Spike movie, and that's saying something, but I'm partial to good jazz and the jazz scene in general so:yeshrug:

Only seen the movie like twice but I don't really remember the movie being all that great (Not saying it trash)
I'd rather watch 25th Hour or Inside Man.

I might need to got back and peep the movie again
