I haven't even watched the video but a lot of you sound sheltered as fucc. If you've been apart of any club scene in a major city around the western world since the '70's that was pushing the limits of music then you've dealt with the gay/trans community to some degree...because those clubs were the only ones willing to play it half of the time.

He's not lying, it is apart of the culture. I suspect it's apart of the culture of many cities but probably more underground. To be fair though, dudes aren't bussing it open everywhere and it's not something you see a whole lot of unless you go looking for it.
