I'm not surprised Nas himself hasn't confirmed... yet. Nas has always loved and embraced the mystique surrounding his album releases.
Kanye is "out there" but dude isn't going to announce another artist's release date without it being true or getting the green light from Nas' people. Nas has said multiple times that he just wants to "drop" the album. Kanye announcing it serves as getting the word out to millions of people while Nas' silence keeps the mystique going.

I BELIEVE that Nas would have debunked this by now if there wasnt truth to it. ESPECIALLY considering all of the c00nery Kanye has involved himself in the past 24 hours. Nas is mostly known for letting his music speak for itself. Even the “event” albums of his early Def Jam tenure (HHID, Untitled) the titles caused controversy but Nas mostly allowed the music to be its own explanation.
Nas doesnt usually allow his name and brand to be involved in fukkery of this magnitude. So i’m gonna assume its true that Kanye at least did the majority of production.
