He's not a star, I'd give him 12 mil/year max.
he's 23 outshining 3 hall of famers in the finals while giving the best player on the planet that work..stevie wonder can see this kid is a star
lets be real leonard is miles away from irreplaceable, like you said they got three hall of famers. They will just insert "small forward" and will not miss a beat. I cant stand SAS but they have a great top-down organization, where one man doesnt make or break the team.
Timmy could of got the max and the Spurs could of fielded the same exact team that won the past year. That fake narrative of rings over money...Timmy took less so his owner wouldn't have to pay the Lux tax.![]()
KAWHI DOESNT EVEN QUALIFY FOR THE 5 YEAR/90 MILLION
"DERRICK ROSE RULE" MAX
GOTTA BE ALL STAR STARTER TWICE,
ALL NBA TWICE
OR NBA MVP TO QUALIFY.

LINK?
IT SAYS ALL NBA...
I HAVENT SEEN IT SAY ALL DEFENSIVE TEAM ANY WHERE.
2 DIFFERENT THINGS.
So you think the Spurs offered the max or a contract more than the 10 mil and Timmy declined??So how would that mean the Spurs are being cheap if TD himself accepted the deal??? You think they would have traded him or released him if he wanted more money????
The owner convinced Timmy to take less so he could line his pockets up. Timmy agent should of been fired on the spot. Timmy should of gotten payed a lot more than 10 mil for all that he has done for the Spurs. Him getting payed handsomely obviously wouldn't have affected the front office from fielding a competitive team...it just would affected the owner and him paying the Lux tax.So you think the Spurs offered the max or a contract more than the 10 mil and Timmy declined??The owner convinced Timmy to take less so he could line his pockets up. They were cheap with Tim Duncan is my point. The greatest player in Spurs history and has it's longest tenure in a Spurs uni. You go over the Lux tax for Timmy. He has brought in a lot more money to the team than he has gotten payed for. They sold him on the fake narrative of rings over money and not being labeled selfish and the media and the ignorant public ate that sh!t up.So he accepted a contract that was offered to him so that makes the Spurs cheap? You mean to tell me that TD, if HE wanted to, couldn't have gotten any reasonable/realistic contract that he wanted? He had OPTIONS. I get your drift but using TD as an example to say the Spurs are "cheap" I don't think is a good one
