Don’t tell me these players are better than the old timers when folks are advocating for them not playing in back to backs.
Most people work 5 days straight. These mf'ers make millions of dollars and have to show up an perform work back to back how many times a year like 5 or 6? And I'm suppose to feel solidarity with that.
They get paid millions or dollars anually to stay in shape for 6 months(NBA regular season)of the year. Keep making excuses for these people lol"solidarity"
Yall goofies
Clearly they play worse on the second half of the back to backs. As a fan its boring to watch and detracts from the experience.
You pay to see a team, not a player. The coaches get hired to win championships, not validate your ticket purchase. They have to make decisions for them that make sense, not your pocket
NBA scheduling is broken with the back to backs
I assume the penalties get worse for repeat offenders because $100k is a low cost to protect your assets (players) keeping them out of a pointless game where they might be hurt
Why are y’all pretending like playing a basketball game 2 days in a row is a big deal?League should just add an extra week to the schedule and stop with the back to back's already. It's clear that teams end up having to prioritizing one winnable game over another, rendering a whole other game as useless and almost unwatchable.
If the point of the sport is to have competetive and entertaining games why would you not want your players fully healthy and ready to go? Case in point, playoff games (which almost never have back to back's)
even if what you said was true, none of that applies to this situation.Man foh with this white boy shyt
Why do you think away arenas are filled when Curry, KD, Bron, Giannis, Embiid or Tatum come to town? Cause folks pay to see stars.
Hawks tickets for a game against the Pelicans start at $22 on GameTime. Hawks tickets for when Golden State comes to town start at $122 on GameTime even though New Orleans is a better team…why? Cause folks pay to see stars and that’s what the NBA markets
