Nah, fam. To some people, their animal is all they have. And some people have been through some shyt, and their dog/cat/whatever is the only constant in their life there when they get home, ready to keep on loving them. I don't see a problem with people having love for their pets.For what its worth I think extreme animal "lovers" and extreme animal "abusers" are both demented, disgusting human beings who I want nothing to do with in my personal life...Just different sides of the same coin, that could both use a healthy dose of time on a good therapist's couch..

If you call out sick from work for a week because I family pet dies there is something wrong with you..Thats not admirable, cute or endearing.. Thats mentally ill behavior... If you can take a living creature and crush his skull and laugh there is also something seriously wrong with you..You lack empathy and are probably psychotic....
