Clemons is probably stayin now, I think Tate is gonna leave too. I have a feeling we're gonna be quiet in FA this year and just extend Earl/Sherm, while signing some dline depth cause both McDonalds/McDaniels are both free agents too

@red222
What about Peppers? Is he stayin or do they have to cut him to make room?

its an interesting point, altho WR is historically the slowest position to develop. guys rarely come out putting up huge #'s, usually happens in year 2 or 3

but i would not pay a guy like Nicks 8-9 when i could grab a guy like Landry in the late 1st. especially given his injury history

if the Fish get Albert and Byrd id be very happy, Buffalo is so stupid for not locking dude up. he even wanted to stay there and they are just too cheap

:lupe: If Bennett is going to get 8 mill a year, it should drive down the price for the rest of the pass rushers in FA.

i know tate doesn't want to leave, at all. him and russ are bff's. that and offering to take less to stay.
i'd like to see mcdonald back too, and haushka is a damn near gimme everytime he kicks. schneider's got some big decisions to make, it'll be interesting to see how it works out because next year is gonna hit us hard.

Rolando McClain retired at the age of 23. He's hoping to launch a comeback at 24.

The Carroll County Times reported Monday, via a source close to the player, that McClain "is in a better place mentally," is working out regularly and has been telling people for months that he plans to return to football in 2014.

The trouble-prone linebacker signed with the Baltimore Ravens last spring, but retired shortly after an arrest for disorderly conduct. It was McClain's third arrest since entering the league as the eighth overall pick of the Oakland Raiders in the 2010 NFL Draft.

After his retirement, McClain re-enrolled at Alabama and has spent time as a student assistant under Alabama coach Nick Saban.

"I admire the kid for coming back to Tuscaloosa, going to class and trying to get everything in his life outside of football situated," agent Pat Dye Jr. said last September. "It's not my decision to come back or not come back. I think ultimately he wants to play again. He's only 24 years old.

He's talented. It's just a shame. It was such a great situation there in Baltimore."

The Ravens retain McClain's contractual rights, but you wonder if general manager Ozzie Newsome will still be interested during a Ravens offseason already marked by legal troubles.
:dead: :to: That's my trouble-making LB.

He'd be a good pickup if he can stay healthy. Key word is IF

yeah

If we were to land him, hopefully with 2nd year players like Ziggy Ansah, Devin Taylor taking a step forward, and Jason Jones he could used as a pass rushing specialist

One source says #Bears offering $8.5 million per year for Michael Bennett and #Seahawks at $8 million annually. That is word around league.

1000% inaccurate, Bills offered Byrd 10 million for the 1st three years of a 5 year contract, he doesn't want to stay in Buffalo, that's why he wasn't tagged.
