I wish someone would post those Alex Smith reactions. They was comparing him to Aikman

Breh I remember they said everyone gave Alex a standing ovation after his workout. Remember someone saying it was the best pro day he'd seen by QB in 25 yrs. :mjlol: Yeah I def remember those Aikman comparison.

this lug Bortles is really gonna go ahead of Teddy and Johnny :snoop:

granted, he did beat Teddy and kind of fukked up Louisville's season, but im not sold on dude. #1 overall would be an outrageous reach

They really trying to push Bortles man, I just dont see it with him,but if houston does take him he'll have an outstanding teacher in O'Brien

i understand the Texans line of thinking, but i dont understand why it seems like Teddy is viewed as a capped out senior college hoops player. this kid has so much feel, so much touch and poise, why try to take the road less traveled when this kids foreal?

Johnny, ok he has holes in his game that some teams dont feel. understood, but Teddy should be a 60-62% 3000 25/8 guy with Dre J and Hopkins right away

Hopkins is going to burst out this year, still got Keyshawn Martin in the slot and could add a TE later like Amaro. he would kill with all that all he really had was Devante Parker (good player) and De La Cruz who is a pretty average #2 college wr

I don't get it either Teddy is a special player. To me he's the most ready made QB in this class. The Texans would be perfect because as you mentioned they have the weapons.

Bortles is gonna be so trash, his footwork is :what:/:beli:, he doesn't get his hips all the way around when he throws.. Dude wasn't even a center piece of the UCF offense. "Looking the part" seems to be his biggest strength.

If this guy comes in as the day 1 starter I'm putting coli cash up that he breaks the rookie interception record

Can't forget about the legendary Kyle Boller throw through the goalpost on his knees. :mjlol: at that playing a factor to scouts/coaches/gms in drafting a QB

people love to overrate the fukk out of qb armstrength in general, where its really not that important. as long as you dont struggle making short throws, its not really gamebreaking. yea its a plus if you have a big arm in addition to other qb skillset, but by itself its pretty much worthless

How come before today nobody ever mentioned that Robinson from Auburn isnt good at pass blocking....every time they mention him being someone you plug in for a decade...

Still plug & play. Lane Johnson was the same way coming out when we drafted him.

They say that about a lot of guys that struggle in one area. The idea is if they are that talented they will figure it out at the pro level. Some do, some don't.

btw how the hell is alex mack still a FA ?

Nobody wants to make him the highest paid center in the league apparently. The Browns put the transition tag on him so if he signs it then its less money than the franchise tag for a year. I guess the Browns figured they'd play chicken with him and wait it out. Seems like its paying off.
