btw how the hell is alex mack still a FA ?

To add what was already said, Mack can't even visit teams until the 20something of March. Its rules on that transition tag sh1t. He's interested in the colts and they in him, which is why they haven't signed a starting center yet.

Last I heard, Jared Allen was offered a 1yr/4 million dollar deal by the Seahawks a couple of days ago. He's back in Seattle today. :lupe:

That's cool. One year deals tend to bring out the best in a player.Only thing, that shyt can backfire quick.Happened with Karlos Dansby last year.Became the most important player on that defense, but for that same reason, They lost him. Some team with more cap room will offer him 3x more than u can:sadcam:

Loyalty get's thrown outta the window at that point.:camby:

But yeah, that's a good deal for Cromartie.Make him step up & prove that he still has it.He was abysmal last year.Ranked like the # 106 corner in the league or some shyt. They say he was battling injuries, but we'll see.

If he can get back to the level he played at 2 years ago, him and Patrick Peterson should make a pretty formidable CB tandem.Cro should be able to get back. He's only going to have to deal with #2 recievers now.Plus, as strong as the NFC West is, they don't really have a lot of great wideouts in that division.

Cro about to pull a Karlos Dansby out there:damn:

The only cb the Cardinals are willing to overpay next year is Peterson. So yeah, if Cromartie has a great year and gets offered a big deal by another team, the Cardinals will let him go like they let Dansby go.

If I'm the Cardinals, I let Peterson walk. He's going to want a record breaking contract, but he's not that good. One of the most overrated players in the NFL IMO.

Just work on that pass rush.Finding corners to plug into you're defense isn't really that hard.

I say that as someone who has watched damn near every Cardinal game the last 3 years. The only thing I like about Peterson is his ball skills. He can catch like a wideout. As far as coverage skills go, he's average to sligtly above average.I think he'd make a better FS.He's good at tracking balls in the air and playing center fielder. He's just not going to give you tight man to man coverage.Man to man just happens to be the Cardinals base defense. He's probably do better in a zone.

I think the Cardinals will pay him because he's a big name/dynamic athlete/popular with the fans.He makes exciting plays, but his technical skill set is not that electric.

He half asses it on punt returns, to.Had a spark when he started, but know he just don't give a fukk
