BET has been pretty good with the tributes the last few years since they demoted the Soul Train Awards. I'm sure we will get a Shelia E, Morris Day & the Time, Chaka medley. Maybe get Usher and/or Anthony Hamilton do some of the falsetto stuff. Too bad D'angelo already did his tribute on the Tonight Show. Long shot is getting Beyonce to show since she's already on tour performing Prince songs...

BET Awards is the best awards of all the mainstream ones. I'm talking about its not even close.

I always thought the MTV Music Awards were. The only way you can watch BET Awards is with Social Media Commentary...people only tune in for the fukkery. For every 1 tribute/perfomance they get right, there's 10 hella wrong.

Remember the BET tribute to MJ? And when they did it the following year CTHU
