Europeans told nikkas that it was wack and black people feeling insecure followed suit and begin to chastize black men who decided they would continue to wear baggy jeans.

Baggy jeans were still popular in mid 00s. 08 they was still popular, Wayne was still wearing baggy shyt in 08. maybe in ny nikkas was tryna dress like Jim Jones, but that Ed Hardy shyt was never fly out here. Only old nikkas tryna be young wore that shyt. Skinny jeans took over literally the last year of the 00s.

Jim jones birthed skinny jeans
and smedium shirts.

i've never wore super baggy jeans.
my jeans were always tailored/custom 501's
because i never wanted the back on my
jeans to EVER tough the ground/floor.
that was always bummy nikka shyt to me.
and my tee's/thermals/hoodies always fitted
me because i'm in great shape.

Nah the New Boyz/the jerk movement did. Soulja had beef with the New Boyz (lol) and was shytting on them for wearing skinny jeans. When Soulja came out his pants were baggy as shyt
Breh...that’s what I’m sayin, his wearing and exaggeration of the big shorts and t’s crushed whatever could have been as far as the wearing of baggie clothes....i don’t even gotta post the pic, y’all know :snoop:

Baggy jeans got played out because by the early 2000's, the trend went from baggy clothes to ten times too big. Brehs began wearing white t's the size of evening gowns and pants that would have fit an elephant. When they started applying air brush to their clothes people started to realize that things had gotten ridiculous and fashion moved in another direction once jim jones began wearing 80's rock star inspired clothes.

anybody that knows me knows ive never
went the trend route.
Now i have a few gucci leather jackets,
tees/hoodies and trek boots but I'm boycottin them shyt's
like sal's pizzaria.
and most of my clothes are black and
I dont do crazy logos.

I never went the af1/dunks route either.
as a matter of fact i wouldnt rock jordans
if jordan didnt play in them and put up numbers.
all i wore and wear today is black and bred,royal,shadow1's
cement 3's and 11's and 12's.
i'm a snob about kicks.
I keep a pair of black chucks with black laces
and coke white shell toes for the culture.
