Daughters was a classic song. Album was good, wasn't a dud, wasn't classic, 4 mics.

I cant recall any memorable tracks from the album.

Sure some old fukks can relate to a joint like 'daughters' but as a young dude I cant relate to it at all.

I remember last year when people were making a deal when LIG failed to win the best rap album award at the Grammys but for me it was rightfully beaten by Take Care.

I wonder if peoples opinion of the album have changed now

If u can't relate to daughters its not because of your age but lack of maturity.

20 years in the game still killing verses. U lack perspective. Who besides Jay still relevant from that era of NY rap?

One thing you cant say was that only people on the Coli liked it given how much praise it got last year and you can see that on its critics list.
It might not have been your thing as a mainstream listener but in terms of an album with things people wanted from Nas it past most marks.

I didn't really like it and I consider myself a nas stan.

First 4 tracks started off perfect but it kind of dips from then on, doesn't really heat up either.

The concept of daughters was solid but the execution was real predictable. I fukking hate the song with amy winehouse. Predictable is a good word to describe the album actually.

I was with you, but I can't agree with that Cherry Wine commentary. In hindsight, Stay is probably the best song on LIG and the one with the most replay value. Sounds fresh every time.
