I'm speaking in general terms.

A lot of Black women like to fall back on the gap between the number of good Black men and good Black women as the reason why so many Black women aren't gettin' wifed up.

They'd like us to believe nikkas are just all kinds of fukked up in the game (in prison, gay, unemployed/underemployed, etc.) and that the majority of Black women are worthy of marriage.

Nope. A lot of Black women are fukked up in the game, too: obese, gay, underdeveloped minds, hair hats, no class/dignity, underemployed, swimming in debt, can't cook, etc.

The number of good Black men and the number of good Black women are relatively close.

Problem is a lot of worthless Black women still get sexed up by eligible men, hence leading to their delusions about their value in the marriage market.

Yup a lot of women place their market value on who wants to have sex with them and not which man of worth would give her their last name.

It's even funnier that I'm the one who said it and I AM a wife who caters to her husband. My husband is king of this castle and I get the greatest joy out of taking care of him and our family and making them happy and comfortable.

This is a good point and could be a separate thread. I'm a guy but I think for women it should be self worth (how they value themselves) first and then how others view them. Practically any woman can have men wanting to sleep with them but does he actually respect/treat you well?

I agree that there's good black men out here. As a matter of fact in my experience there's plenty of them. You will never hear me state otherwise.
I refuse to label an entire group behind the actions of a few or even several whether that be black men or women or children or whatever.
We were both 27. This is a 2nd and final marriage for each of us. A lot of men and women don't choose properly for mates,(a admittedly both of our first spouses were not the correct choice but we both learned from them and picked right the 2n dc time) 've been saying in this thread don't be blinded by the shiny pretty object with no substance. That applies equally to both genders.
