PRINCE: What two albums would you RECOMMEND to new listener?

Sign O The Times is one of my personal favorites, however Hits B-Side trilogy should take care of everything for getting into Prince.

I see the Estate is rereleasing a lot of albums. They need to put out the Madhouse reissues as well. I had 8 on vinyl when it dropped, no clue what happened to it.

But if you’re strictly looking for albums and not greatest hits compilations, then I’d recommend Purple Rain and Sign O the Times.

Ima keep it a bean prime Prince was before my time but the only albums I love are Sign O the times and PR. The rest got a lot of mid joints on it, that’s why I’ve always said Prince needed some other people in the studio

Also for jazz type heads NEWS was a great instrumental album in the 2000s I believe

Sign O the Times and 1999. I think I have all but 2 or 3 of his albums, but these 2 are masterpieces, in my opinion.
