This is how a lot of them feel, but unfortunately many black Americans think that because someone sells us something they automatically like usor fukk with us. You notice that when you go in Abdul's store, there aren't any nikkas working in there (maybe one at the most), that means they'll gladly take your money but aren't trying to hire you, that should tell you something. They're practicing group economics. Doesn't mean they like us at all. But no matter what, seems like nikkas will still rush to Akbar's store for a hot dog, beer, chicken, cigarette, etc so they suck all the money out of our communities. He can even call us ******s in their native tongue but cats still think these are our buddies

I have been researching that story and it's conflicting reports on who was running the IG I want to go see what's the deal with it for myself because I live in that same zip code and in that area I would be HIGHLY surprised if the folks over there are supporting a known racist piece of shyt because that's not one of the REALLY bad areas in the city and there are several other stores in that vicinity that you can spend your money. Ironically it's a black owned gas station over there that I won't support because their gas is ALWAYS more an the women who work there, who suppose to be "family" of the owner are really rude

Yeah the arabs wild around here in the liquor stores and the gas stations. I'm beefin with all the stores next door because I've caught ALL of them trying to hustle me multiple times and stay calling them out on it. It's amazing how they look at black people with no respect.
But fukk buddy in the IG, only defense is that looks like the hood and you still see some crazy shyt on the daily in the hood in Detroit

Sad -- but not surprising.
I'm from Michigan --- and my neighborhood is/was all Black upper-middle class -- and the only non-Black neighbors we have are two Chaldean families.
But, we call em Arabs -- or as my momma say - "foreigners." And yeah -- they use to own a few grocery stores -- but now a couple of Starbucks and a Chipotle.
I know they are racist -- but I grew up with them since I was a child -- and of course - they treat me (and the rest of us from our neighborhood) differently than I have seen them treat other Black people who frequent their stores.
I addressed it a few times when I was younger with them -- but that was when I didn't understand WS and racism.
We all grown now - and I only see them when I am at home visiting and happen to see them outside -- or when I want Starbucks and Chipotle - cause I get whatever for free.

When I was younger - I was somewhat "close" to the whole fam - and one summer when I was in HS I went to work with them for one day. It was terrible.
Mainly cause their store was in the city/area where ALL my family lives and where I came from --- and the way I saw their other extended family members treat Black people that came into their nasty store that day changed how I looked at them.
One of their Uncles, who didn't know I was their neighbor and not a customer or employee -- tried to talk out of pocket to me -- and they were like "NO that's our neighbor!" and the Uncle immediately apologized -- but I knew then what was up. They only treated me different cause I lived next to them.
