I thought Harbaugh's contract expired after this season. If so why would he let the team he's going to lose an asset in a trade?

nikka it's not about the current team, it's about him being charge to help with personnel decisions to bring in good players. That's why I said "Full reign"

I was :snoop: at the negative reaction....alot of short sighted nigs on here...I dont give a shyt about Harbaugh, Oak or the Jets but its a smart move on Oak part if they pull it off..you gotta change the culture and talent within the Raiders organization

yeah it doesnt make sense, only if theres a big bidding war (which I doubt). I dont think he goes anywhere before seasons over.

hell, I still think theres a chance he stays. if we somehow make the playoffs he'll stay for sure.

He's gonna go to coach the worst roster in football that just gave up a high ass pick to get him? No.

With Brandon gone and Hoke likely gone as well, the time seems more ripe than ever for Jimbo to come back home. And in terms of money, if he's smart, he should do whatever it takes to get San Fran to fire him so that they have no choice but to pay him the rest of his contract, PLUS whatever Michigan would be willing to pay him to coach there next year.
