Not necessarily. Granger is signed primarily as a backup for Wade (and I guess you could say as a contingency plan at SF in case Riley's "worst nightmare" is realized)

I wont get optimistic yet but these signings have the makings of names that LeBron possibly suggested during exit meetings as "smart, high IQ basketball players"
