Look at the contract situations in Miami. Retooling in Miami is the only option that makes the most sense for Lebron.

Battier a given, but I think we should try to upgrade with a young big to replace birdman, I appreciate what's he's given us but at this point he's just another body. need some new young shooters, and a PG too, I honestly wouldn't even offer chalmers a contract. That's saying something too cause I thought he would be a heat lifer

Aside from LeBron (and Wade out of loyalty but at a discount somehow), I want Bosh, Allen, UD and Beasley to return. JJ as long as it's for the vet minimum. And Cole too, but he's already under contract. Everyone else can be thrown in the bushes. I wouldn't be opposed to Birdman for cheap.

his best option is miami...they have a great GM and an owner that doesnt mind spending...

they need to get younger on the wings....a serviceable big-man...and another consistent scorer (melo? )....

but this isnt over....

i think the hate-the-heat brigade is being premature...them nikkas gonna be mad again in a few weeks when the moves start....and they gonna be furious when the heat win the east again and end up back in the finals next year

Bird has a player option, for like 1.5 million. He'll probably be back if Lebron comes back. but replace Lewis, Battier, and Hamilton with better and younger players
