Breh, shut the Fukk up. No insult meant but Josh Smith is like a JR Smith level headache with some of the stupidest basketball IQ I have ever seen.

I'd legit stop watching the Heat play for a bit.
Yeah the last thing this team needs is a guy disinterested on defense, shaqtastic at the line, loafs on offense, and has the shot selection of Jamal Crawford or JR smith. There's a reason Detroit is trying to get rid of him.

Ugh, guys...a new day started and I'm not really looking forward to this season or FA.

We're a nice spot to live in and we got some cap room but...

-We're not attracting good FA on the strength of our players. Guys like Andersen and Allen who are willing to take a minimum to play with Lebron. I love Bosh but no one gives a damn about him or respects him like that and Wade isn't Flash anymore.

-I hate to say it but we don't have those kinda fans or arena that players love to play in or for. I still cringe when I see that "Fan Up" sign.

-We just aren't a team for developing talent. It's never really been out strong suit. Riley is good at making things work out in FA but we had a lot of out appeal in Lebron. Spoelstra isn't a "OMG, I'd love playing for him coach" for players.

What do we really have to offer right now, brehs? We just got ass-smashed in the Finals with Lebron looking like the only player who belonged on the court, thoroughly out-coached and outplayed, we LOST Lebron, and the players we kept looked like shells of their former selves. We can't be looking too appealing for guys who want to play for contenders so we ain't gonna be signing dudes to vet minimums now.

Yeah it's a big cause for concern. For the next few years anyway, the western conference champion will be winning the finals regardless. Riley will need to pull another rabbit out of his had. He tends to do that sometimes. Look at 2004 and 2010 as examples.

Man, we had a young Wade and a Wade fresh off of an MVP caliber season though. I love Riley but that was just a bit of great luck and fortune for things to work out like that. We had stuff to work with like Wade's talent and ability.

Our building blocks are Napier, Ennis,, and Hamilton...

Yeah this has me worried too. To a lesser extent, it's similar to what happened to Cleveland in 2010. The rest of the team is still here.

Except Cleveland got something out of it. We get cap space and still got no picks

Listen, I realize anytime you lose the best player in the world and one of the greatest players ever it's going to feel like nothing will ever compare. It's true, we might never see a caliber of that type again for a generation but we can still compete for championships. Everything for a while is going to feel like a let down but no one knows what the future holds.

Our best bet is to hope Bosh plays his ass off and we entice a free agent to come down here to join up in a few years. Drafting isn't guaranteed.

Bosh was an all-star who carried that bum ass Toronto squad. Maybe he can do the same in Miami :ehh:

Breh, the realist in me is stronger than the fan in me right now. Bosh is a 20/10 guy and maybe a 6/7 seed for us. That's like saying people are gonna wanna play with Brooke Lopez or Al Horford. Those aren't guys that typically attract good free agents.

Compete for championships? Man, we'd probably get beat in 5-6 by LAST YEARS Bulls and that's with no Rose. We lost our best playmaker, passer, rebounder, scorer, defender, post presence, athleticism, and our glue guy in the span of a day.

Man, we might get the work from the damn BOBCATS or Nets now in a series. Al Jefferson would look at our roster like :shaq:.

Maybe I'm being a complete pessimist. I'm still gonna be watching but I'm pretty sure we're about to be the bytches of every team we made our bytches. Chicago, Indiana, Brooklyn, and the Cavs are about to unleash 4 seasons of absolute hatred onto us and we gonna be powerless to stop it.

You mean he carried them to two playoff appearances where he got promptly stomped by the Nets and the Magic?

So we're the Hawks now? :sadcam:

Gonna be first round fodder, give up our top ten picks to Cleveland, and pray a FA wants to play with us?

:why:

I'm more worried about what happens when Pat Riley and Wade are gone to be honest. Being the 5th or 6th seed doesn't compare to that.
