Bledsoe would be a great look, but again. Rich Paul and he will also want the max, and Suns will probably match. But I'm all for going for it

Rio gonna break out without bron destroying his confidence
Rio going back to his GOAT ways? :leon:

Fukk it, shyt is business. You cant be mad at Rich Paul. If Bron really wanted to go back home & fix his Cleveland legacy then that isnt Paul's fault. Riles cant be mad at him for that.

Also i dont think Suns would jump to match a 12 mil offer to Bledsoe. Because they got to pay Goran soon, plus are deep at PG. I think we have a better chance at getting Bledsoe then Monroe right now.

Of course they will. Bledsoe has tremendous upside and, at worst, is a great bargaining chip for later.

Pass on Bledsoe and overpay Deng for 2 years.
At this point I'd take a flier on Evan Turner; Jermaine O Neal, and Chris Kaman.
Of course, being back Oden.

I agree with the Bledsoe over Monroe part. It looks more and more like SVG is going to re-sign Monroe.

And I'm a big Bledsoe fan, so I'd welcome him, even if it took the max. I don't think they can currently offer Bledsoe the max, because of McBob and Granger, unless D.Wade takes less than we even think. I think they'll match at $12 mil, but who knows. The Suns keep saying they'll match any offer, but signing Isaiah Thomas says otherwise. It's worth a shot, especially since the next best option is Deng at or near $40 mil. They'd just have a better shot if they could offer the max and he had an agent they trusted to place pressure on the Suns to let him walk, or cooperate with a sign & trade.

Maybe the Suns would have matched. But when they went & signed Thomas, i took it as they are out of the Bledsoe race. They wont match anything thats close to a max for him. Because they say they do match. Goran is up for a contract next year what are they going to sign him too? If they give him close to a max then they have a bunch of money tied up in a back court. While having a young PG in Ennis. Who might be a stud.

Maybe i just really want us to sign Bledsoe. That im not seeing the picture fully. But its just not making sense for the Suns to tie up all that money in a back court. When they are super deep already. I say they swing for the fences then if the Suns match. Go get Deng, right now it doesnt look like anybody is jumping to sign him. Especially at his asking price. :dead:

I'd like Bledsoe, despite not thinking the Suns let him go off of potential alone, but I say our focus for now is using this season to start coming up with some sort of offensive philosophy to maximize our best talents in Bosh Da GAWD and Wade.

Last 4 years, we relied on pure talent to overwhelm teams, especially in the half court setting, rather than a cohesive group of players playing.

We got one of the best stretch 4s in the league, with a multitude of offensive skills, and legit three point range. We got a crafty and physically strong SG with impeccable footwork. We got some range and NBA shooting ability in Napier and young talent in Ennis.

We need solid wing defenders, a great rebounder, and some kind of backup playmaker plus a backup scorer,

Guys I think we could sign they could help us build out philosophy and we could get off the books soon so Riley can start planning for FA in a couple years with our new team philosophy.

Beasley
Aminu
Oden
Marshon Brooks
Heinrich
Deng

Napier/Cole
Wade/Heinrich/Granger
Beas/Ennis/Aminu
Bosh/McRoberts
Oden/Haslem

Something Like this so we can give our young guys playing time and see how they look with our stars, a couple of vets to help give out younger guys some guidance, and we got a couple of exciting/fun players for us fans to cheer for when we watching,

What's funny is that The Suns looked like the front runners to sign Deng a few days ago. If they aren't willing to pay Bledsoe above a certain price, they could hold off and sign Luol Deng when the Heat sign Bledsoe.

And IMO, Ennis + Thomas = not willing to pay Bledsoe the max. If the Heat can clear max space, then they should go for it. They just have to be careful, because they could miss out on Deng in their pursuit of Bledsoe and end up empty handed.
