I respect Lebron, I enjoy his game, and I'll defend him from lames who don't respect his greatness.

But :pacspit: to that nikka as far as anymore success goes. Bucher said it best and looking back, he's completely right. Lebron was never truly happy in Miami because he was always gonna be the villain here and he can't take that. Never could.
That's what makes me sad. Guy prioritized being liked over being the man to the point he crawled back to play for those fans and that owner. In doing so, he proved them and hacks like skip and Whitlock and Bucher right. I really wanted all them to be wrong.

i want ennis da menace to dawn the cape. but 12 years from now, james #6 will be in the rafters next to Wade #3, Haslem #40, Bosh #1, Hardaway #10, Mourning #33, Jordan #23 and Marino #13.
I still don't see why Jordan and Marino are up there. Neither ever played for the heat and one guy played an entirely different sport (we've even had guys wear 13)

in the end we shoulda known this would happen. he took what he thought was the easy way out when he came here, realized it wasn't that easy and found the next easiest way out of here.

Was coming down here to Florida the easy way out though really? I mean most logical folks were saying he should leave the cavaliers. How bad they were the last 4 years validated that. Guy would've been like KG on the timberwolves if he stayed. KG even more or less told him when the celtics beat them he needed to get out of there so as not to end up like him. Leaving here I totally see as taking the easy way though. Chances at a title are definitely lower, but now nobody but kobe stans and Jordan evangelicals will laugh when they don't win, as opposed to everywhere but south Florida laughing this year and in 2011.

Breh, if you look back to his career and even see how he carries himself, Lebron has always been that corny kid that wants to make everyone happy.

It's in his demeanor and how he carries himself. It's why Lebron has made more playoff game winners than Kobe but it still shocks you when does something insane. He's always had an air of vulnerability in his aura that players like Wade, Jordan, Kobe, Bird, and even Bosh, lesser extent, don't have.

Wade doesn't give a damn about being liked. Bosh doesn't care what people say about him. Chalmers doesn't even give a damn about being liked. Lebron always did.

This dude thought he was gonna come to Miami and win 8 championships (to be fair, i did too). i mean, he literally said "Once the games start, it's gonna be easy." He definitely THOUGHT this was the easiest path to greatness.

We don't need that bitter shyt in here. Can't go from loving Bron a couple months ago to calling him all sorts of retarded shyt. I don't care what happens from here on out, dude helped to bring back greatness to the heat while being the best player on the court, night in and night out. How the fukk can y'all just erase everything he did for us and swap positions with those hating ass racist fukks back in 2010? He will forever be a legend in my eyes and he will still be one of my fav. players in the league. Yea I hate that he went back to that bum ass team n city but it's his real home. fukk it, that's life, I'm not gonna hate him out the blue now....never that.

Let's focus all this energy on celebrating the current heat roster and looking forward to the next season and beyond.
