Heat actually got better this offseason. I can back it up too, the lack of a ball dominant superstar and a bosh-wade duo paired with a specialist like Deng can take them to a new level.

You're right, but I forsee basketball purgatory for the next 3-5 years, unless a miracle happens.
That miracle could be the Heat landing an AS talent in the draft; Wade playing at a superstar level again, or Bosh turning into TOR Bosh.
You are for seeing the future with skepticism. On paper, the team has gotten better with depth. We have fresh legs paired with our core players. All we need a system that will fit the talent. It is up to Spo to design that system. We are in a good position to aim for the conference finals and maybe a final appearance if everything goes well with our team.

We didn't get better, doggy. Deeper, yes. But we lost a lot of talent.

Thing is we have too many question marks right now that we can't use LeBron to overcome them anymore.

I don't think we have as many question marks as you are implying. My only issue is that we didn't get a starting center so we can move Bosh back to the four. Everything else I am happy with. You can't lose Lebron and be a better team. However, we did get deeper and by adding quality players. Every player we added has a high basketball IQ and is very talented. I agree with @havoc; it's now up to Spo and the coaching staff to implement an offensive system to blend their talents. Defensively we should still be up there. We won't be flashy but we should win a lot of games and have a chance to compete in the East.

The thing is some of our question marks are the things we are banking on the most:

Can Wade be a dominant player again? Can Chris Bosh be a featured #1 option again? What have we done to solve our rebounding issues? What about the PG position?

We overcame some of those with Lebron's presence. With him gone we have to find other ways of making those already glaring weaknesses. I still don't see who other than McRoberts and Birdman will crash the boards. History tells us not to depend on Bosh to be a monster on the glass. History tells us Udonis can't be that dude anymore.

Our biggest question mark is still Wade

We lost one talented player. The likes of Rashard Lewis, James Jones, Ray Allen, are all easily replaceable.
I said we lost "a lot of talent". I didn't say we lost "a lot of talented players". Two different things. When MJ retired the Bulls lost a lat of talent despite only losing just one player that year. I'm talking talent level. Our talent level was high. We just didn't have the depth

Oh and I've been ready to send James Jones packing. I never liked one-trick ponies.Lewis was just a utility player. Props to Allen but we need youth. The only former player of our that went to Cleveland that i wish we could have back was Miller. Always liked his game and never seen a skinny white dude that could rebound like him. Ever

As far as Wade & Bosh being dominant. I don't think they have to be. I think the scoring will be more balanced because our offense will rely on more ball movement as apposed to one player doing the bulk of the play making. We'll have to wait for the season to start to see if we improve our rebounding and PG play. I don't think we will be bad though. That's for sure.

PG play will be fine IMO. We have enough ball handlers to get things done. We just lack someone who can consistently break down a D even with the ball movement ala Tony Parker style.

Rebounding is still a major concern of mine

The reason the Heat was terrible in the rebound category because Bosh play pick and roll defense, he doesn't like to work in the post, and play afar from the paint. Also, like I have been saying in last season, Harlem didn't enough minutes to contribute on rebound. Then, minutes was given to Lewis and Shane who usually work in the perimeter; as of result, we end up with two Power Forward who doesn't give us anything in the low block. We had too many shooters on the floor in almost every possession. A few adjustment to have the big players moved further into paint and allow Haslem to play more minutes was the strategy that was needed to fix the rebound problems.

Our rebound production could be efficient if Spo make the right adjustment with our new squad.

T.O.
why wouldn't he?
did Bosh get hurt or something?
is he too old now?

only difference between raptors bosh and heat bosh is the 3pt shot.

and 4 years..he could be better post lebron but i dont think hes going back to Raptors Bosh...
The difference is he was a post player as well as decent perimeter shooter in TO and got to the line at will,i dont see him being THAT guy again...

That being said they need him and Wade to be 20 PPG scorers to be competitive..its nice to say ball movement but they have to be consistent scorers nightly for this team to win...Nobody else to rely on if they resort to 2013-14 Bosh and Wade...
