and 4 years..he could be better post lebron but i dont think hes going back to Raptors Bosh...
The difference is he was a post player as well as decent perimeter shooter in TO and got to the line at will,i dont see him being THAT guy again...

That being said they need him and Wade to be 20 PPG scorers to be competitive..its nice to say ball movement but they have to be consistent scorers nightly for this team to win...Nobody else to rely on if they resort to 2013-14 Bosh and Wade...
He doesn't appear any slower to me.
4 years for a player his age means instead of being a young guy he is now in his prime so that is actually a plus. i don't know why you take that as a negative.
Still don't see any reason why he wouldn't be able to get to the line.
he can't be that guy anymore just because he played a different role? what is he being type cast? is this hollywood or something? :heh:

dude has a wider skillset now than he did back then. i wouldn't be surprised if he scored more than did back then.

Hes def not going to avg more than 24 a game and he may still have that skillset but he doesnt want to be that guy anymore...Hes said numerous times he doesnt want to be in the post and bang anymore, thats why i take it as a negative...

Bosh has the capability to be a 22-24 PPG scorer. He just needs a guy who can get him decent entry passes on either the high or low blocks plus a little misdirection so he can step out and show his range now.

NO

He needs a great rebounder and shot blocker so he doesnt have to spend too much of his energy there and focus on scoring

James Ennis was signed to Nike. No small feat for a second rounder who played in the D-League his first year. This is technically the "biggest" endorsement you can have as a basketball player.

Still sticking with my projections for the Heat being a 3 or 4 seed after the Cavs, Bulls, & (maybe before the) Raptors.

Breh hasn't been in the league for a full year and he already has a better shoe deal than Chalmers :wow:

I think given a chance he can be a good rotational player for us

Brehs let's not get our hopes to high on the kid only to be dissappointed. We've been down that road before (Miner, Reeves, Beasley). We all know the vets (Deng,Grainger) are likely to get the bulk of the minutes until Ennis can prove he deserves more minutes than them.

I got a good feeling about this kid though. Pat usually doesn't get excited about young guys on a team of veterans. Something tells me he'll be a very helpful player.
He might be Deng 2.0. But more athletic & explosive. He needs to tighten up his ball handling tho(pause:beli:)

That's true too but we'll see. I hope he really is that good

I see raw Shawn Kemp like talent but in a SF body.
What i really like about him is he doesn't seem to force anything on offense. Just takes what the defense gives him. I'm sure Wade and Spo will love the guy
Trouble is players that are raw like that on the wing don't always have big impact early. If he was a PF or C then we'd be cooking.

I think Ennis can have a big impact. He plays defense & can shoot the 3, plus is a good rebounder. He isnt that raw imo.

Me too. He is looking like a steal right now. I expect him to get some play seeing how Granger can barely stay healthy so save his life. If that's not the case, hopefully Spo utilizes our depth and plays him from time to time.
