I can understand being disappointed with trading both picks to get him (I still say it was a move that was catered to princess but whatever) the only player I wanted out of this draft was Patrick Young and I'm baffled they couldnt even get the guy after going undrafted.

Bruh, I was pretty pessimistic too. It sucks to understand our team went from cakewalk to the finals to playoff bound (If Wade's knees hold up) but we actually did pretty well.

Of course we can't replacd Lebron's sheer talent and versatility but we did a good job at finding players that are very good at the things we lost in Lebron. Passing, Ball handling, Spacing - McJesus / Defensive versatility and effectiveness - Deng / Above the rim athleticism and shooting - Ennis / Experience - Granger

And we still got a great finisher in Wade and Bosh's scoring versatility.

We're not gonna be the high flying, off the backboard oop squad with the blitzing fast defense or holding our breath during fast breaks but we're gonna be a fun squad. We're pretty much the Heat before Lebron. A tough, gritty defensive squad that will grind out wins in what will probably be close games but 47 wins isn't out of the books for us.

Our biggest problem is that we're going to have a crappy offense when Wade and Bosh sit because Wade is our only reliable shot creator and our best playmaker so we need to see what we can do about that.

I will say that I'd prefer not to play the Cavs in the playoffs though. Ain't no defense alive stopping a Kyrie/Love/Lebron combo.

All good points.. And heat brehs got best fanbase on here, hands down, welcomed the kid in back after talents were being traveled.. Gonna have more of an independent voter role this year, as I will support a few teams from afar.. And yes, a heat cavs playoff match up would get crazy.. Lol

We reached out to reps for Ratjkowski, McCarthy, Bosworth and Bell ... so far, no word back.
