i was reading it on the miami herald site they did take off most of the comments after posted but it was mostly comments about lebron acting like a slave or "house" nikka cuz of the talk of him taking less money and the usual big lipped monkey type shyt

Lemongrass, cherries, alkaline water
Cliff notes for those who missed it

  • Riley believes we picked a player (in Napier) that will be here for a long time. Says all he wanted to do when they met was talk about work, and what he can do to help this team get better. Proven winner with lots of experience. Riley left after intro, said he had to go upstairs and crunch numbers :heh:
  • Spoelstra: His competitive will jumped out the most on film..Track record of being on winning team. Having best moments in big games, knowing what its like to sacrifice, playing with and off the ball with high IQ.
  • Spo reiterates our PG position is a "hybrid" position, says Shabazz skillset (offensively and defensively) is perfect fit for that.
  • Shabazz: never star struck, but humbled by LeBron's comments expressing interest in him, not nervous at all.
  • Spo responding to Riley's challenge to re-invent himself: *tapdances around question*
  • *Ira spends about 2 mins asking irrelevant questions like where he did his workout with the Heat and if he'll be signed by summer league*
  • Shabazz: '13' his mother's favorite number so thats why he wears it. Says he didnt model his game after any one particular player but cited Chris Paul, Tony Parker, and Steve Nash as guys he's tried to take bits and pieces from.
My impression: A mature, well spoken guy. Nothing seemed forced or like false bravado players put on for the media, natural leader. Wasn't the biggest fan of the pick but highly impressed from interview.

:whoa:
I'd rather roll with Cole and Napier over someone in his 30s that's shot below 40% from the field in the last 2 seasons and isn't going to be getting any better as he gets older

yeah his FG% sucks but he was taking a bunch of terrible shots on terrible orlando teams

career 38% from 3 is the most appealing thing...can easily hit 40% with the open looks he'd get. sucks on defense but so did chalmers lol. he's also not afraid of the moment.

This dude Spo has to be the dumbest mothafukka ever. You have to reinvent yourself Spo, because your shyt has been figured out. I hope he is talking about something else & not fixing tweekin our defensive system & offense. :beli:
