this reminds me of back in teh days when the blackhawks had byfuglien, bolland etc and would just straight physically manhandle the canucks

the habs when they were playing boston had as much grit/physicality as the current leafs and much less talent than the current leafs have and still beat the bruins in 6(2002), in 7(2002,2008,2014) and lost in 7 in overtime to them in 2011 (their cup winning year)without Markov and Pacioretty.

last 2 times the leafs were down 0-2, it was first in 1993 against detroit and they came back to win that series in 7, and the first two games they lost 6-1 and 6-2 in order.

2004, against Philly, 3-1 and 2-1 in order, they tied the series with 4-1 and 3-1 in order before losing in 6 games.
