Why would they book them in a singles storyline match anyway? Just unneeded and the tag champs would have taken a technical loss in fans' eyes even if Nikki was scheduled to take the pinfall.

Modern day WWE rarely releases statements on disgruntled talents. Part of me thinks this is a work but the other part of me thinks its real and WWE is trying to get ahead of the story because some shyt went down backstage.
