I'm confused too. I don't see how men who constantly choose their manhood over their race can cry sooo much about any woman who does the same.

She wouldn't crack the top 100 of serving speed
I'm not one of those guys, so. My question to you is: Does the title "Greatest Female Athlete in the World" bother you?
I wouldn't care because sports are divided along gender lines for obvious reasons. But I'm not Serena Williams so its not up to me. She is one of the greatest athletes of all time though, and I'd call her whatever she said she wanted to be called lol. Her accomplishments in her sport speak for themselves, she's earned that respect imo.
Now, why any pro-Black man would want to take that way from her to align with white men because they're men, I don't know![]()

Is she greater than Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal? Hell even, Margaret Court or Steffi Graf who have more grand slams? I'm talking about relative to the actual sport, stop injecting race into it because tennis has been dominated by white folks outside of Althea Gibson, Zena Garrison, Arthur Ashe, Mali Vai Washington, James Blake and a couple of others in the 200 plus years tennis has been played.
No one in this thread has said she isn't. The question is does there need to be a distinction when there's an actual advantage/disadvantage.
No one has taken any of her accomplishments from her either, said accomplishments are her being one of the greatest athletes to ever play tennis and the best female tennis player in the world.

I'm talking to the guys who will scream in every thread about Black feminism, then run into ones like these to claim white men's accomplishments over a Black women.
If you don't care about race then I'm not talking to you![]()
What white men are we aligning with?
What would you call posting an article about a white man beating one of the greatest Black athletes when she was a 16 year old girl be?
Or posting an article about a team of white boys beating a team of white women to prove that Black women's inferiority and diminish her accomplishments?
I'm just pointing out the focus on race over gender that many of you want Black women to have, you don't practice yourself. You were very quick to not even think to defend Serena as a Black woman, but quickly forget about race period to assert men > women.
I've already given my answerI don't watch football, but if a Black quarterback had a problem being called a great Black quarterback instead of a great quarterback, I'd get it. Chances are, all the guys upset about Serena wanting a distinction would too.
