Like we can just gloss over trading Noel when they'd now have to throw a huge offer sheet at Asik to essentially match the production Noel could give them at a fraction of the cost?

You call paying Jrue Holiday, Eric Gordon and Tyreke Evans a combined $35 million dollars a year "doing a good job building" when they are all minus defenders and have redundant offensive skill sets?

I'd love to see what you consider a bad job rebuilding.

1 - Noel is already better than Asik

2 - What makes it worse than paying 35 million for the same player, the fact that they traded Noel for Jrue after ALREADY having those other 2 is one of the dumbest moves I've ever seen. Even if Noel never lives up to his potential, that's not how you build a team together.

3 - This is one of the prime examples of not being patient...do people realize that the 76ers might possibly have 3 years in a row with having the best player coming into the league? That is almost unheard of.

Hmm, I don't know how I feel about this.

Monty had trouble getting all those guards playing to their strengths. Not sure how much I could put that on coach, but it was annoying to watch them play dumb as fukk the majority of the season.

REQUIRING the playoffs in the west with THAT roster that had injuries all year is kinda ridiculous though.

Hmm, I don't know how I feel about this.

Monty had trouble getting all those guards playing to their strengths. Not sure how much I could put that on coach, but it was annoying to watch them play dumb as fukk the majority of the season.

It's an AWFUL team, you don't stack so much talent that basically all do the same thing. You guys play NBA 2K too much, that's not how you put a roster together.

They would be in a MUCH better position with Noel instead of Jrue

Nobody is doubting that but the holiday trade was a steal and nobody knew if/when Noel would be able to play

Their entire division made the playoffs, if they had an awful roster they'd be counting lottery balls right now. They need better coaching not players, somebody like Pop, Carlisle, or Budenholzer, shyt even a Brad Stevens would have them on point.

You acting like Nerlens fukkin Noel was gonna have them sitting with home court in the playoffs. You really think the Pelicans would be higher in the standings if they had Noel? They'd probably be outta the playoffs, I get it you didn't like the trade but damn nikka quit bytching


But the Pels didn't need an Anthony Davis lite with 85% less offensive and even skinner when they had already had the real McCoy so they went with the PG they didn't have.

Tyreke has been playing MUCH better than the Pelicans can EVER hope to get out of jrue holiday. He is the only guard on that squad that I will keep tbh
