He died over a Death Row chain so hip hop did kill 2pac.

we really dont know who killed em.

but regardless, that beef did not start over hip-hop. IT SPILLED INTO IT.

theres nothing that delores tucker said about rap music that couldve prevented that beef.

Shock G from Digital Underground and Treach probably still wish he never got out from under their wing.

He would still be alive today.....

Can't believe I missed this.

Pac was wilding out well before anybody knew what Death Row was....including during his time with DU. Shock G, Saafir....hell even Mr. "fukk Compton" Tim Dog spoke on this numerous times.

He was constantly getting into fights, pulling guns, all kinds of crazy shyt during DU tours.

I think it's hilarious that people still post that "Pac at 17" video like he went from that directly to Death Row. He was wild for years prior to Death Row.

She was speaking on the senseless and reckless behavior in Hip Hop culture that led to his death.

Most civil rights leaders understand the English language.

She wanted to stop the epidemic of rappers calling black women hoes which still exist today.

And she wanted to stop black people from rapping about killing each other which still exist today.

She knew exactly what she was listening to and wanted to stop it.

She knew Jews were pimping rappers and getting rich as people in the hood suffered.

:laff: And the gangsta rap she was criticizing didn't?

Young fans effectively calling a civil rights activist a sellout because she objected to the damaging gangsta rap culture in the 90's was just very naive, but they were young and impressionable, mislead by rappers protecting their own interests & hiphop journalists doing the same by dikkriding said rappers, but grown fans still doing this in 2014? That's just plain stupid.

That was a black eye for black folks that led to this self-destructive shyt that we see today.

You nikkas are naive as fukk. She had her own agenda and she did not kow what she was talking about. Any Black person who actually lived in a black hood knows nikkas dont live up to or look up to these rappers. The black communities in America are shyt because of single-parent homes, lack of employment opportunities within our community, rundown schools, weak economic backbone in our communities, abundant drugs and guns, etc. So why is she concerned about rap? Why are women not held accountable for being in those rap videos that degrade them? Why not attack the porn industry, video game industry, hollywood industry, and tv industry, since they have violence and misogyny as well?

And how was Pac a c00n? How can suge pimp him when he was less wild than he was before signing with DR? How is Pac a c00n for riding with the piru blood set? Are nate, snoop, lady of rage, Kurupt, Daz c00ns as well?
And Pac and Bigs death was not because of hip hop. It was three sets of beef they spilled on one another (pac vs big, suge vs pdiddy, and blood vs crip). The chain incident was apart of it but it was a little incident that was apart of a bigger one.

lol @ her agenda...the one that dont promote ignorance

Like David 'best friend of Donald Sterling' Stern was concerned about ignorance, himself. That agenda.

Allen Iverson was not Alan Henderson, he was unlucky enough not to have that kind of background and grounding. Allen was a kid who had interests which the adults didn't quite understand or want to understand (it wasn't that long ago that the only rap you'd hear on radio would be instrumentals). They should have let him express himself, branch out. If he had been allowed to branch out, how much of his issues would have been transferred to wax instead of transferred to the hardwood?

If his branching out interferred with his ability to do his day job, that's one thing. But to intentionally suppress someone's artistic leanings, on some 'that's not appropriate' shyt, I can't be down with that. It's suspect.

C. Delores got used, the same way church folk always get used. And in the end, what was the end result of the fight?

Artest, Kobe, Chris Webber, Stephen Jackson and plenty of other athletes made rap music so i don't agree.
