The black community is in shambles. The family struxture is destroyed, fatherlessness and vile demonic acts are common place..
i haven't listen to black radio in years, years and years...u tune in and everyone black & white radio trying to get close to howard stern as possible...

Nah don't care about this stuff because one don't live in Atl, second even if I did still wouldn't hear this stuff, third if I did its easy to avoid it, fourth you just seem like you like to complain about stuff that is easily fixable just because. Ok that's all I could think of off the top.
I remember 103.5 KTU in NY used to do some similar shyt.It was called "War of the Roses" and someone would call the radio station and have the DJ call up there wife/gf/husband/bf (whoever they suspected of cheating) and tell them that they getting free flowers. Only catch is they can't send it to them directly they have to send it to a person they were seeing. Some people would fukk up and send the flowers to their side chick while their main would be on the line with the DJ and then ambush their ass. I remember one person called in while he was outside a coffee shop watching his girl.
Haven't listened to the show in years but that shyt was hilarious as fukk.

It's probably one of the best segments on the station
Durrty Boyz are shock jocks now and they've been pushing their show to be edgier & edgier since they took over for Cocoa Bruva more than a decade ago. I think they're ranked #1 in Nielsen ratings for their time slot so I can't really hate. Is the segment morally irresponsible? Absolutely. But is it a winning formula? Yes and that's all that matters
Yeah. They do birthday shout outs, and let go. You just got let go lol. Shyt been going on back when 107.9 was hot 97.5 and Ryan Cameron going from 97.5 to V103 (which was a big deal back in the 90s in Atl)

It's not a reason to promote (and to normalize) those kind of behaviors in the community.
I guess these dudes wouldn't have minded if there was a segment promoting crack on urban radio in the 80's because "it wouldn't exist if people didn't enjoy smoking crack"

The point is that it wasn't always normal, any behavior can be made to become "the norm", doesn't mean it's ok.
More like crack = promotion of promiscuity or the destruction of family values.
