It was a great portrayal of The Joker by Heath. Every other performance was subpar except for Gordon. Batman is the weakest character in all the movies. Bale as Batman dialogue was thin, delivery was horrid (imo) and his Bruce is just as bad. The lack of physical stunts the entire series isn't even worth mentioning. That will be defended by people saying it's supposed to be story driven, which it is but aside from a pretty decent job of creating the tension of Joker taking to the city but failing to climax it correctly by trying to tie in Harvey, it wasn't something to be raved about in my opinion. It had moments though, and I enjoyed those few moments but that's it.
BS... Bruce Wayne sonning Harvey Dent to bolivia with one line:

"so you're into the ballet?"

Spider-Man 2 - This right here is the cream of the crop. It was fun, had inner turmoil with the hero, GREAT fight scenes, some good drama..the only thing lacking was the chemistry between Toby and Dunst, but then again, Bale didn't have any chemistry with Holmes or Maggie G.

1) I put DOFP above any of its predecessors.
2) The Winter Soldiers definitely gives TDK a run for its money at #1
3) Man of Steel is criminally underrated.

The problem with all of raimis spidey films is tobey and dunst. Theyre both terrible and have zero chemistry.

And you cant just brush it off, because its such a huge part of the films. It isnt just some sub plot tacked on. Its arguably the biggest part of the films.

Tobey was cool, Dunst was OK. But they were lacking on-screen chemistry.

But so is Bale and his love interests, which were a major part of his movies. He wanted to give up being Batman because of her. Now that I think about it, aside from Reeves and Margot Kidder and Keaton and Kim Basinger & Michelle Pfeifer, none of the superheroes had chemistry with their female leads.
