I'm sure you would like that. However, in the state of California if a convicted felon is found with the posession of a firearm the maximum is a five year bid in prison. However, if he gets himself a good lawyer he/she can tell the story of how he was on his way to work when he got stopped inaddition to the fact that he turned his life around and stayed out of trouble for the last seven years. If that works he can either get a plea deal of two years or community service. And, he is a husband and a loving father of two young boys. You cannot take that away from him!
