I'm struggling to see how Indians are the white mans "nonthreat footstool" when India and China are already world powers. If you wish, but they certainly had something obstructing development. It just wasn't outright slavery.

India is still fukked up in many regards. But it's better off than any African country. Africans can learn from India, the problems are similar - Africans have clans Indians have castes, the poverty in India is worse because of overpopulation but both have it in disproportional rates. I look at pictures of Africa and I always think how similar it looks to India, again, minus the overpopulation. That's why I laugh at these Africans on here who talk like they are so above and beyond Indians....they are delusional.
