you have to know the cultural context in which to diss someone.
you don't have to like someone.
yet, if they culturally violate, then that is the issue.
there are connotations to battling, and dissing, breh.
there are also cultural connotations to bragging, that give them potency and revelency.
a super wack rapper talembout his money, but always got served.
or, who is in cultural violation is not going to be given credence for bragging.
that is why most wack rappers who rap now,..create no traction with the culturally knowledgeable.
even if they have all the payola, to create fake permeation.
the other reason why the records do not sell, is the records are not culturally associated.
rap music used to have a cultural connection.
