On another note the warriors originally wanted to ta
Knicks best outlook: let Carmelo go this summer, tank next season to get a lottery pick, and go after Rondo following year when they have total cap space. During the 14-15 season also deal Amares expiring deal, get something decent too. Time to rebuild for NY.

:manny:

:patrice: that seems like a zach randolph scenario......so umm no. No trading the effective player and waiting for the injured (or fat) player to expire..... Nope not going to co-sign that

Melo is the only piece they need to keep. Also on another topic more proof that the 2015 plan is a real thing is if the knicks don't trade barg for David Lee (the warriors want him for that 1 year earlier expiring) the knicks keep him for themselves

Melo 10-28? LMAO. Most overrated player in the league.

Actually, is Nate Robinson a free agent? Most Knick fans think Nate>Rondo anyways

Regardless, I think the Knicks future is actually brighter without Melo... How much money can he get on this upcoming contract? Giving a 30 year old Melo 5 years 130 million would be a franchise crippling move.

Nate helped his injury depleted team beat the Nets in the 1st round last year...

Rondo's team averaged more assists and played better without him :manny:

But tell us.........why you mad? Chris Smith's money has no effect on what we do. He's on the bench in a suit holding Tyler's spot until he's healthy.

Great ready for Barnyawny at center brehs.
not mad breh just a little upset that somebody like chris smith who hasn't nearly worked as hard as some people has made 500k by literally doing nothing

The top of the City
1st round pick for Bargnani? :dead:

This is why it's almost not worth it to be a Knicks fan sometimes. The Knicks will keep pissing away draft picks chasing busts like Bargnani and filling out our roster with name brand players past their prime because they want to keep the seats full of the suits from Wall Street, etc... Who are totally uninvested in the team or the game and just need somewhere cool to take their clients while they close the next deal that will ruin the economy.

I'm about to just be a fan of the small market teams who consistently get it right and serve the real basketball loving public.

Bargnani is 7ft tall. I want to see him in the paint anyway.

No more hanging out at the 3pt line. Expose him Woody.

Who said that we had to baby this dude anyway as if he is above battling in the paint and getting dirty? If he is scared, he should be embarrassed.

It's whatever at this point.
