At this point we can put the "Jeremy Lin can't Play" shyt to bed. He's an NBA guard, and another PG that made Ray Felton look like a D-leaguer this season.

I like to think people see that Faried would not have helped us last night, too.

This team has trouble going with what works. And nobody showed up aside from Melo and Bargnani.

I also think we can put the 'bargs sux' nonsense away, too. Dude's got a well-defined skillset, and can be used in a bunch of ways.

But, our team D sucks. and Prigs getting 7 minutes - to me, isn't ok.

I do like what I'm seeing the past two games. And while I wasn't expecting him to be able to fill a role defensively like this, did I expect him to be a positive on the court from day 1? Yes

While I'm not for trading Shump for just anything, can those who deem him untouchable explain exactly what you envision him becoming, with what sort of team & when? Honest question.

And to clarify, it ain't like his trade value is high like that anyway.

Shump's going to be moved it is what it is....he's certainly not untouchable, but the reasoning behind the Knicks not liking him is so ass backwards. We have Chris Smith on the roster yet we want to scapegoat Shump.

I like Hardaway though...he can finish way better than Shump can.

I agree Prig should start over him at this point. I'm thing Prig might have some kinda ailment tho as his minutes are down. He's a pest on D, keeps the offense moving, and has been less hesitant on taking open shots. Can't be his play keeping him on the bench.

I know what you meant, I just don't know why you're telling me. I asked the people who love him what they think his ceiling is. The reason the Knicks want to trade him could actually be that he's their best trade chip not named Melo or Chandler. The roster's unbalanced and if we can use him to address a more important area you do it. On the flip, let's say it's because Dolan hates him for not playing summer league. Dolan actually has a point. Rookie year: no training camp, no summer league due to lock out. Year 2: No training camp no summer league because of injury rehab. Year 3: Ready for camp and summer league. You have yet to average 10 points a game for a season, you have ALOT of trouble finishing if you're not dunking, and your dribble drive game has been non existent to this point. Show us your work this summer, Dolan might have been thinking. How do we know Shump doesnt walk around with a cocky attitude when he hasn't done squat in this league yet? Who are you to act like SL is beneath you? Didn't Nate Rob play summer league his 3rd year? Willingly? I wanted to see Shump play summer league too. That would've shown if he's grown offensively. If he was dominant averaging let's say 17 or 18 at least, we'd know he's taken the next step. Clearly he hasn't. So yes, I know the Knicks are a terribly run franchise. Yes I know there is a CAA conspiracy. Yes Isiah and Melo are pulling all the strings and they report to JR. Thank you sir, your point has been expressed. To mufukkin death.
