I know what you meant, I just don't know why you're telling me. I asked the people who love him what they think his ceiling is. The reason the Knicks want to trade him could actually be that he's their best trade chip not named Melo or Chandler. The roster's unbalanced and if we can use him to address a more important area you do it. On the flip, let's say it's because Dolan hates him for not playing summer league. Dolan actually has a point. Rookie year: no training camp, no summer league due to lock out. Year 2: No training camp no summer league because of injury rehab. Year 3: Ready for camp and summer league. You have yet to average 10 points a game for a season, you have ALOT of trouble finishing if you're not dunking, and your dribble drive game has been non existent to this point. Show us your work this summer, Dolan might have been thinking. How do we know Shump doesnt walk around with a cocky attitude when he hasn't done squat in this league yet? Who are you to act like SL is beneath you? Didn't Nate Rob play summer league his 3rd year? Willingly? I wanted to see Shump play summer league too. That would've shown if he's grown offensively. If he was dominant averaging let's say 17 or 18 at least, we'd know he's taken the next step. Clearly he hasn't. So yes, I know the Knicks are a terribly run franchise. Yes I know there is a CAA conspiracy. Yes Isiah and Melo are pulling all the strings and they report to JR. Thank you sir, your point has been expressed. To mufukkin death.

I thought Shump's comments after last years loss to the Pacers annoyed the hell out of the guys above and that's what put the wheels really in motion here. The Knicks are very cliquey and Shump seems to be the odd man out. If they can get a nice piece or a first round pick in return :manny:

What did he say? You're probably right that it set the wheels in motion. Sometimes, especially as a young unaccomplished player, it's best to just shut the fukk up. Shump is/was in the clique. Wasn't he the main one uploading all the group pics at the movies or on the team plane last year?

Bottomline Is No One Is Saying Shump Is Untouchable, But To Do Something Irrational Would Be Stupid As fukk

And The Knicks Are Known To Be Stupid As fukk

I Dont Trust Their Decision Making

Basically saying losing was unacceptable, disappointing season...while Melo said the opposite essentially.

Actually he has to be the odd man out. Felton can't get you anything alone. Felton with THjr won't return much to upgrade the point or rebounding. JR isn't going anywhere and call me crazy but he's the wing I'd keep of the 3. THjr definitely won't bring back anything useful by himself. Shump could be moved alone to upgrade our front court issues, but you'd still need to package him to upgrade the point.

Doubtful they'd move TH yet. Just a matter of time before a deal happens...I'll take picks. We need them.

This is a deep draft obviously in 2014.

Felton was just awful last night... doesn anyone else think Melo doesn't get his fair share of calls? dude gets absolutely obliterated and still no fouls are called for him.

And what's this about Shump being the odd man out. Am I the only one who sees the pregame Knick ritual where Iman is in the middle?

Yea Melo basically said you can't always win and as a veteran he accepts that. I like Shumperts attitude more, I wish we had more guys on this team that thought the same way.

However, Shumpert still has no ball handling skills and has defensive lapses

Interesting then that there are at least two responses to that question that went completely ignored :stopitslime:

They weren't made yesterday when I asked Junior Murder. This is what we nit-picking about today? :stopitslime:

What do you guys think about Asik? He's a big rebounder and defender who's not getting any minutes. I know his contact us ugly but do you think he's worth going after? Felton and Shump for Asik if they have to get rid of Shump. Keep in mind though I don't want to get rid of Stump

:patrice: I don't know. I'm thinking now the point might need more of an upgrade than the frontcourt...
