Its a conflict of interest. When the agency is bringing it billions of dollars in corporate sponsors to MSG...and this agency also happens to rep basketball players....who do you think Dolan's going to bring in. "Jim if we get you Chase...we need you to let JR Smith do his thing.."

World Wide Wes and Leon Rose are little people in the scheme of it all.

Chase’s sports portfolio is headlined by its 10-year, $300 million Madison Square Garden deal, which encompasses the New York Rangers, Knicks and Liberty, MSG itself, Radio City Music Hall and the Chicago Theater.

Funny trivia related to that TommyBeer tweet. This is from the press conference after Bryan Colangelo gave Bargs his extension.

Can Bargnani replace Bosh as the franchise player?

“I don’t know if he’ll ever be able to replace Chris fully but he’ll have the opportunity to assume a much bigger scoring load. He’ll have an opportunity to emerge as a dominant or pre-dominant scorer on this team. There are times he gets a little bit lost in the offense and he gets a little anxious when he does touch the ball. You’re talking about a 7-footer who’s 24-25 years old, he’s gotten better every step along the way and despite the constant, constant criticism of the contract, it’s a very good contract and a lot of people around the league agree with us. It’s a very good contract for a kid with that kind of potential and production where he currently is. For another $15M you can get another 1 point and 2 rebounds from LaMarcus Aldridge. Arguably they’re in the same category, maybe it’s neck-and-neck right now, maybe LaMarcus is a little bit ahead but you’re talking about guys in equal talent area and it’s a very good contract and there’s a lot of value there and there’s a lot of interest in him. He’s going to have a chance if Chris leaves, if Chris stays then we’ll work with him to get better. You could say rebounding is a concern, he’s gotten a little bit better but not good enough. Defnesively, he’s one of our best post players. He averages over 1 block a game, he’s become very effective at that. Is he a good weak-side defender? No, he needs to work on that instinctively, he needs to be collectively a better group defensively because we don’t have solid man-on-ball defenders especially if there are straight-line drives coming from the top….there are areas of everyone’s game that need to be addressed., Andrea will have an opportunity to grow”

CAA is big time I get it, Derek fukking Jeter is CAA, Peyton Manning is CAA, Real Madrid and Barca are CAA.

But you can't appease CAA all the time, doing petty shyt like having Woodson fire his agent ... I can deal with.

What are they going to do take Chase away because of JR smith? Motherfukker owns Madison Square Garden and 1/2 of the Cable companies in this country. He can do the fukk he wants.

Chris Paul is CAA but Chris Paul isn't a Knick ... So If I'm Dolan, I'd be pretty ticked off with my dealings with CAA.

This is how you do business. The problem is its a total conflict of interest when they're influential on the roster(which they clearly are).

Dolan has to pay for a new building....you dont think he's going to appease CAA for helping MSG land a 300 million dollar chase deal? Of course he is(he's a moron)...Chris Smith wouldnt be on the roster if not.

Dolan owns MSG, Radio City, the Knicks, the Rangers....the problem is he's mixing business associated with the building with the Knicks roster.
