So we are really going to act like that scathing article about J.R Smith wasn't on point?
With all of the talent, athleticism & potential(The perfect physical trifecta), he really is a loser.
And I'm not saying that from a "fukk J.R Smith" stand point. I really am saddened about what is happening to him. I don't even think he is stupid, he is just not applying himself AT ALL. That is the biggest travesty.
If J.R Smith had no off/ court on court issues and his only problem was that his game fell off, nobody would be crucifying him, but that isn't the issue.
The issue lies in the fact that his decision making is going to be the downfall of this luxurious life that he created for himself. I feel even more pissed off that considering he has a daughter, he'll continue to be castigated and become an outcast in the NBA, ensuring his daughter never sees the life he wanted for her.
I almost feel like this should be a thread in HIGHER LEARNING, because what is wrong w/ Smith is exactly what is plaguing a lot of our youth. The inability to delay gratification, the lack of seeing the bigger picture and thinking the next move they make, should be whatever gets them 200 likes on instagram.
Dude has no excuse though. He is one of those cases that "CHOSE" the hood lifestyle, not raised in it. I don't respect that.
I am like most of yall, when I see a white journalist commenting so aggressively on a black man, it requires me to squint my eyes to make sure there aren't any detectable racist subtleties...but honestly, nothing he said do I disagree with.
The shyt he's doing is the opposite of black excellence, and if you're not working towards black excellence, especially when you have the tools... then you have a negative next to your name.

We can still rehabilitate Shump's psyche & I have loved THJR from the moment I heard Stern say his name as the Knicks pick. If we could package him w/ Beno, that'd be even better.

But Woj Ethered JR bruh the second trade rumors start. He took his hate on the knicks out on JR and ethered him cause he is immature and went out his way to hurt the knicks chances to trade him. That to me based on "that is all the knicks deserve" was the point to fukk up JR's trade potential by shytting on his name. This is the same Woj who as soon as the rumors came up said "its just to scare JR, its not real" probably in hope's JR wouldn't take it serious and continue the fukkery.
