What kind of lame headgame is Woodson all of a sudden trying to play?

I swear the Knicks try to do this with a player every year and it hurts the team. The stupid lack of addressing the issue with JR is not brilliant discipline. Woodson is not fooling me with this latest act. Learn to communicate effectively with your players or get a team psychologist to address these problems. This Dolan way of retribution and teaching lessons retroactively is proven to be ineffective.

By the time this blows over, JR Smith's mental state and confidence will be even worse. And thats IF the the stress of this situation doesn't prompt him to do something even more self-destructive through his words or actions. You cannot mentally torment or publicly embarrass a man with pride for too long before he claps back.

Silence and surprise benchings are not effective communication.

This JR situation is a headache. I doubt that we can trade him, due to him having very little value on the market. They (Management, Woodson & JR) need to have a sit down & iron this nonsense out. And JR has to understand that anything he does from now on is going to be under the microscope, but that's his own fault for being a bonehead. With that being said, I still believe dude can help this team somehow.

I want Kemba Walker in a Knicks jersey so bad brehs...

i know Kemba destroys the Knicks every time we play the Bobcats, but i dunno. He's a gutty ass player, young, quick, has a midrange game & is better than our PGs combined tho for sure...but he's not very efficient.

Regarding JR - didn't the Knicks pay a big sum of his contract up front...like $15MM up front or something? How much of a cap burden would he still be if it's that serious? Or maybe just arrange a buyout for him at this point if there are no trades available whatsoever?

Nobody said anything about c/s his lifestyle. I only care about what happens on the court. Apparently Woody and Smith were beefin after the Suns game so I take back some of what I said. Regardless of what your opinion is (and I can see your a very smart guy), my opinion is JR Smith is an above average shooting guard and if he can give us somewhere near the production he gave us last year, then hes worth the money hes being paid.
