True, but I don't recall their being any other real options last summer.
Save fukking money then ....................why cant the knicks grasp this concept, they already lost on CP3, and is about to lose Carmello simply cause these muthafukkers can't money in their wallets

They could have used the Smith money to keep lin who is looking rock solid and steadily improving

Did I say he was a heavy user and strung out like Odom no, rich nikkas siff coke all the time, shyt young bucks sniff coke on the block like nothing.....

Miss me all the way with this bargain shyt, would you throw that that of money for a nikka on the tail end of his career that had a knee injury that needed major surgury

You're a moron. Secondly, the report of him needing surgery came after the fact.

Might of been worth the money salray cap wise ten years ago, lets not act like Smith aint a 6th man ass nikka, yall nikkas stay reaching with that weak argument for over paying for a nikka with a knee injury.....:stopitslime:

Of course his chucking ass had some beastly games, but you can't win and depend on a chucking ass me player like Smith, and to make matters worse this career 6 man ass nikka is the Knicks 2nd best option with 2 other max players, stupid ass fans and shyt organization......
Thats your opinion, we won what? 54 games last year with JR as our 2nd option? The only way we can find out whose wrong or right is by waiting to see how all this plays out.

The way i view it is he's with us so I'm rooting for him to get back to last years form. I think he can help us if he can do that

Off court shenanigans aside, how many SG's in the league can match JR's production from last year?

18.1ppg
5.3rpg

I mean obviously JR would be better off in a boring city like Minnesota or Boston. But again he's with us right now so it won't do me any good to go around angry saying hateful things. I accept things for what they are

Shows how much of a D class organization to throw money at a rumored coke head, without putting him through the grind making sure he was physically fit in physicals examinations beforehand, for a Jr smith ass nikka, he meant that much to the Knicks.

It aint hard to drop 18 when you chucking and ball hogging every damn day, when nikkas like Novak a money shooter is wide open damn near begging for the ball

Smith simply put up those points by default because they truly aint have no better options and he relished some with a ultra green light, now he's back to his unreliable ass self. Is he worth that money now??????????????????

What'd cope doing now ???? Jr was and is better than him
He on a loaded team, are you gonna ignore all 30 point games off the bench last year, would Copeland and his offensive prowess not help this weak ass Knicks team with a 6 man as a 2nd option:comeon:

Novak got the ball when he was open, he just didnt get open enough

I partially agree with you, it wasnt the most efficient 18ppg but Id rather have someone that shoots too much as opposed to someone thats afraid to shoot. Lets not forgot its Woodson that has constantly encouraged JR to chuck

I dont wanna make JR sound like a one dimensional ball player. His 5.3rpg last year would rank him 3rd among SG's this year. And 3.1apg would have him tied for 12th among SG's this year

At the end of the day a good argument can be made either way for JR, I cant front on that. But there's no need for the name calling and hating on others opinions. We all Knicks fans here :salute:

Copeland had some really nice games and moments but he didnt prove to me that he's a legit 2nd scoring option or 6th man over the course of an 82 game season
