The total lack of respect and blatant hate for the Knicks in the media disgust me.

Like we didn't take our division?

Like we didn't have out own 12-13 game winning streak?

Like we didn't eliminate those old ass bum ass celtics and sent Doc going back to Cali Cali

Like shump didn't have some of the best wings in the league on lock?

Like we didn't beat the heat in the season series 3-1?

How are the nets better? Kevin and Paul are old and Deron is coming off injury. Kidd is brand new coach who no one respects just yet. Him and Kevin are arguing over mins right now.

The only team I can see that's better is maybe the Pacers but the way Hibbert has emerge with Paul George is scary.

But we are stacked. MWP, Stat, Tyson front like with Melo shump TH jr man I'm excited. #knickstape we coming for nikkas head. Let's go!!!!!!

fukk that. The defense is more thugged out and agile this year. Prigs, Shump, Smith, MWP, K-Mart :wow:

Our bench is #1 in the league I'm callin that shyt now...We're deep enough for our stars to get rested with no real dropoff in production...THJR, Smith, Murray, Bargs, STAT :wow:

:blessed: Our potential this season...Surpasses that of last season, fukk what they talkin bout :pacspit:

So let's get this all straight before the season starts for the Knicks...

Last year they said the Knicks couldn't win shooting so many threes. They change the roster to be more midrange friendly, while still having 3 pt shooters, and we even add a young 3 pt shooter via draft, and they say we won't be as good because we can't shoot 3's like before

Last year they said the Knicks weren't good enough defensively... Shumpert is healthy day 1, K-Mart is here day 1, prigioni is likely to get more playing time, and we bring in MWP, and we get rid of two horrible defenders. But now we may regress defensively because why?

Last year they said the Knicks were too old... This year the Nets pick up three past their prime stars but somehow they are going to automatically be a great team. Regardless of how gassed they were last year in the playoffs, and having a first time head coach trying to figure things out.

They make a big deal about the Knicks losing Steve Novak and Chris Copeland (Steve Novak was the garbage time king last year), but it's not a big deal that the Bulls lost Gallinari, Nate Robinson, and Rip (to a lesser extent). Gallinari and Nate were instrumental in how well the Bulls did last year. Not to mention Hinrich, Noah, and Deng are all dealing with injuries.

The Knicks get indictments... other teams get excuses. I would be more annoyed if the Knicks didn't prove everyone wrong last year. I expect them to do the same this year.
Good post...but I don't think Gallinari played for the bulls last season. Which player are you referring to?

At the risk of sounding like Trip, I think the anti-Knick agenda the media is clearly on is a result of Dolan's anti-media policy. It's the only thing that makes sense. This shyt is clearly being pushed. 37-45? 6th or 7th seed?? No playoffs??? Come on. I guess no 1 realizes Rose has even less of a clear cut #2 then Melo? Granger is already out for damn near a month in Indiana but hey they picked up the legendary Luis Scola and somebody else who's name is escaping me. The Nets will learn the hard way about adding old school cats to their core. Only thing that bothers me about this season is I don't see a leader that can calm things on the floor the way Kidd did. I can see Pablo being that but I think the language barrier will get in the way. Melo, Tyson, Felton, and Kmart are all prone to destructive mental meltdowns. This will sound crazy....but Artest may need to lead this team. As long as he dont elbow the shyt outta anybody. And look at how the media ignores our pick up of MWP who is in great shape, has a great attitude so far, and will be better for us than AK47 in BK, Scola in IND, and is younger than Pierce and Garnett.
