While a prosecutor well definitely exaggerate and manipulate circumstances to their advantage, it's not like they can outright LIE to the judge….and, I don't know why anyone who follows this would question whether Suge was involved in extortion and 'taxing' rappers, athletes, celebs…..They tied in an OG Crips shot caller…it's likely they had a partial case already, based on statements, surveillance, testimony, whatever. In theory, this is how it works, I will use the OG crop mentioned as a microcosm for the larger picture, Suge is the tie in from the street to the rapper/celeb/athlete, because he is a failed/pseudo celeb himself, and you see dude everywhere, posing for pictures, whatever. And he has a certain charm to him, and an incredible legacy in the culture and the industry….so the unsuspecting, who don't know that at heart the 'Big Homie' Suge is just a low rent, near sociopathic gangster who is only loyal to himself, fall into the trap.
Before you know, Suge is in the club with you, Suge is at the after party lounge with you, Suge is in the suite at the after after party…he's hooked into you, and then it starts with the way things work in LA, sometime subtle, or not so subtle. Suge taps his OG Crip contact, who in turn taps his torpedoes, who will make their presence known. Just swap out the OG Crip for any gang member OG in the whole fukking city, who will work with Suge. Thats how extortion works at that level, it's not like they have to wire a 30k fee before they touch down, it's a slow, long con, carried out by a washed up, desperate man, who has been running these types of low life hustle since he fell the fukk off, back when George W Bush was president…..He's a bottom feeder.
And heres how you avoid the trap, you don't' fukk with Suge, at all. He's persona non grata, stay the fukk away from me, don't come to my table, don't shake my hand, no pictures no drinks….keep the trash where it belongs. But, people want to think this dude is their friend. He's an extortionist and a bully, he's the dude turning out the guys fresh on the tier in the pen.
