I dont care for Tariq but he is actually right. If you grow up in an area and dont see others with opportunities to do something with their lives and you are shut out from doing something yourself then you are going to turn to illegal activities. People are going to find a way to eat and put a roof over their heads, if legal economic opportunities are denied to them then they will find other ways to keep food on the table.

Thing is, there are programs out here to help black men get certifications. Whether they're taking advantage of it is another issue. I understand your point about working a $10 an hour job but what's stopping someone from getting a security job then their gun card to work for an armored truck company? I'm just using that as an example.


I was talking to an older cat earlier who was telling me how he tries to encourage young brehs to do trucking to make money, some of them listen and grind that first year and some are scared to take that jump.

I worked in Workforce Development and there are tons of programs for the underserved. Whether you take advantage or not is on you. Ain't nobody coming to your house and handing you a job. Stop with the fukking bu bu but whitey excuses.

Then you should know, that if someone wants to find work and is on their grind, they will. I haven't seen anyone who really put in a strong effort to find work, not gain employment. And I ran a fukking ex-offender program, comprising of nothing but felons. Lets stop with the bu bu but excuses.
