:ehh: The beat really is why that shyt popped and of course Drake being Drake. nikka made a pop hop diss record and shot straight to the top with it :bryan:

Meanwhile Meek desecrated the Undertaker's legendary theme :smh:

Drake is a pop artist that crosses all demographics :yeshrug:

That's what I was sayin the whole time and what a lot of people was sayin. "Back 2 Back" was a hot record but it was not this "career ender" like Meek just said to Tax that these nerds were sayin it was because there was no substance there for a knockout blow. It was a song full of lil jabs.

Even Tax says "it was the beat..."

Past all that we know that most likely Drake himself didn't write it :manny:

Tax was being bytch with saying "it was the beat" because he's on record quoting and laughing at the lyrics. He just ain't built like Charlamagne to be brutally honest.

Also Meek his interview before this admits B2B had "body shots" that he had to take

Meeks records had no quotables

N.O.R.E needs to tighten up. When it comes to interviews that people want to hear, Tax Season has been outdoing Drink Champs for the past 2 months.
....cause people get TIRED of being interrupted by NORE every five damn seconds, that shyt is BEYOND annoying.

Nah but....Taxstone be interviewing cats in the midst of drama, too, which fans arguably want to hear more.

Charged Up :banderas:

Now I think back the execution of that beef was so perfect and well thought out. Drake had the luxury of a cold, murky set the scene type track since Meek initiated the beef on twitter instead of bars. Then came with the club banger B2B.

B2B was the punchlines, it was fun. But charged up was the real. Read the lyrics if you didn't catch everything he addressed on that thing. Crazy.

"I stay silent ‘cause we at war and I’m very patient
Six God is watching, I just hope you’re prepared to face him"

I don't think you guys understand what's going here, for the first time since the beginning you finally have people from the culture creating content for the culture. This interview is going to change the game because a lot of these artists when they get big they don't go back and sit down with people from the culture anymore but they will sit down with a Zane Lowe who will ask questions authorized by the artist , you may not like tax or meek but you have to respect what's going on here.

I like it a lot. 'Might even say more impressive than B2B in terms of content.
Plus that beat >>>

Charged Up was everything it was intended. You don't have to appreciate/ comprehend it you might need to go rap genius or something. B2B was simple turn up and ripping jokes on Meek.

Charged Up wasn't even a Meek diss strictly speaking. He touched on the wider issue of people plotting his downfall
