In terms of Xs and Os he's not very good but in terms of his team having an identity and playing hard and keeping them motivated way he's good.
People are just talking out of their asses now. The reason he got the gig was he was a great 4-3 DC in Minnesota

Too many pretend nikkas on the Coli.....:francis: nikkas who know a damn about Tomlin know he was hired because of his knowledge of that 4-3 DC aka that "X& O" :martin: Coaching in his 30's no less...Be ignorant Breh's :beli:

Chuck Noll, Bill Cowher and Mike Tomlin have some say in talent but they are not the selectors. Noll and Cowher benefited from one of the greatest talent scouts in NFL history, Bill Nunn, all those black boys that made The Steelers Great are a product of BILL NUNN.

only reason I know of Bill Nunn is because Doug Whaley said he was a mentor and taught him the scouting ropes

yeah the pipeline to the black colleges was big. The Raiders and Chiefs also had pipelines through black men.
